⁴ᴷ Fukui: Tsuruga Station (福井県: 敦賀駅) – Japan Walking Tour (April, 2024)
In April, we will be moving from Kansai to Hokuriku while taking pictures. We have moved from Kyoto to Fukui.
The Hokuriku Shinkansen line has been extended and the area around the station has been reopened and is very well maintained. However, since it was a Monday, the town was deserted and there were not many people walking around at night in the huge shopping street extending from the front of the station. It is a bit surprising that there used to be enough economic power to support such a large shopping street.
