In this walking tour, we have a look at one Japan’s most popular spots among tourist and locals to visit, Kamakura in the Kanagawa region!
Kamakura is one of the oldest places in Japan, being settle at around 800 years ago! This area is home to a lot of sacred imagery to Buddhism with plenty of shrine and temples dedictated here.
In more recent years, this town has become more renown as Tokyo’s beachfront, being only around 50 mins from the city by train to get there, with with plenty of beaches, hikes, shops and shrines to explore!
This video covers one of the largest shrine of Kamakura, just minutes walk from the station with plenty of shrines, temples, Torii gates, traditional bridges and ponds. Whether you are religious or not, this nature walk is perfect to help de-stress, slow down and take in the beauty of nature.
