Hello. “Enjoy Japan Tour”. This time we will introduce recommended hotels around Kyoto Station Central Exit . The name of the hotel is “APA Hotel Kyoto Ekihigashi”. It is located 3 minutes walk from the central exit of Kyoto Station. Then I’ll head to the hotel. Proceed towards Kyoto Tower.
Cross the intersection in front of Kyoto Tower Building. Proceed east along Shiokoji Street. From the A5 subway exit on the right, APA Hotel Kyoto Station Higashi is a 1-minute walk away. After passing the cheap ticket office, you will come to Higashinotoin-dori.
What you can see in front of us is APA Hotel Kyoto Station Higashi. It’s a 3 minute walk from Kyoto Station Central Exit , excluding the time spent waiting at traffic lights . I arrived at APA Hotel Kyoto Station Higashi. This is the hotel entrance. Proceed inside the hotel.
There is a front lobby on the first floor. Although it was a weekday, it was crowded with guests. I checked in and received my room key. There are several APA hotels around Kyoto Station , so I wasn’t sure which one to choose, but I chose APA Hotel Kyoto Ekihigashi
Because it had a large public bath . Let me introduce you to the room. The accommodation floor was the 8th floor. Let’s go into the room. When you enter the room, you will see a large bed in front of you. There is a large desk next to the bed.

Free bottle of mineral water on the desk . The bed is king size so it is comfortable for sleeping alone. Next is the bathroom. It is a unit bath. The bathtub is APA Hotel’s original egg-shaped bathtub. It saves about 20% of water compared to a regular bathtub. The toilet has a washlet.
A complete set of amenities is on the wall. I immediately took a bath in the large public bath to soothe the fatigue of my travels . The public bath can be accessed from the 2nd floor. Pass through the 2nd floor and go down to the 1st floor.
You need to go down the stairs to the first floor. You cannot take photos inside the public bath, so please see the photos on the official website. There is also a coin laundry next to the large public bath. There is a convenience store just outside the hotel, which is convenient. I could see Kyoto Tower clearly from the side of the hotel. Breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet at the 1st floor restaurant “Nonki”.
Hours are 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM. It wasn’t as crowded as I expected when I went there after 7:30 . This is the salad corner. We have a variety of grilled salmon, fried white fish, fried fries, and sausage side dishes. The rice with milk, iced coffee, and iced tea egg was delicious.
A variety of rice accompaniments are also available. There was also a rare gyudon (beef bowl). This is the bread corner. I end up eating too many croissants and rolls in the morning. At this hotel, you can eat gelato for free after your meal. You can choose the type according to your preference.
