八ッ場ダム やんばだむ
群馬県吾妻郡長野原町にある多目的ダムです。
2020年4月1日に運用を開始しました。
ダムの高さは116m、貯水量は1億1200万m3で、洪水調節、発電、水道・工業用水の供給、観光などの目的で利用されています。
総事業費は約5320億円で日本のダム史上最高額となり、計画から68年を要しました。
八ッ場ダムは、その雄大なスケールと美しい景色で、近年注目を集めている観光スポットです。ダム周辺には、さまざまな観光施設やアクティビティが用意されており、家族連れやカップル、一人旅など、幅広い層に人気があります。
八ッ場ダムの見どころ
ダム本体
八ッ場ダムの最大の見どころは、やはりダム本体です。ダムの上からは、八ッ場あがつま湖の壮大な景色を一望することができます。
エレベーターで下の放流口の近くまで行けます。(エレベーターは午後4時半まで)
やんば見放台
やんば見放台は、八ッ場ダムの近くにある展望台です。ダム本体や八ッ場あがつま湖を一望できる絶景スポットとして人気があります。
道の駅八ッ場ふるさと館
道の駅八ッ場ふるさと館は、八ッ場ダムの近くにある道の駅です。地元の農産物や特産品を購入したり、食事を楽しんだりすることができます。また、八ッ場ダムに関する情報も発信しています。
有料のダムツアーも開催している。
A-GATTAN
A-GATTANは、八ッ場ダムの近くにあるレールバイクです。線路の上を走るレールバイクに乗って、八ッ場あがつま湖の景色を楽しむことができます。
八ッ場あがつま湖: 八ッ場あがつま湖は、八ッ場ダムによって造られた湖です。遊覧船に乗って湖面を巡ったり、カヌーや釣りなどのアクティビティを楽しむことができます。

Yamba Dam
Yamba Dam is a multipurpose dam located in Naganohara Town, Agatsuma District, Gunma Prefecture. It began operation on April 1, 2020. Attractions at Yamba Dam

Yamba Mihodai: Yamba Mihodai is an observation deck near Yamba Dam. It is popular as a scenic spot where you can get a panoramic view of the dam itself and Lake Yamba Agatsuma.
Yamba Furusatokan Roadside Station: Yamba Furusatokan Roadside Station is a roadside station near Yamba Dam. You can purchase local agricultural products and specialties and enjoy meals. It also provides information about Yamba Dam.
A-GATTAN: A-GATTAN is a rail bike near Yamba Dam. You can ride a rail bike that runs on the tracks and enjoy the scenery of Lake Yamba Agatsuma.
Lake Yamba Agatsuma: Lake Yamba Agatsuma is a lake created by Yamba Dam. You can take a pleasure boat around the lake and enjoy activities such as canoeing and fishing.
