Day 4- I saw Koriyama Castle Ruins on one my search for interesting places to see outside of Osaka. I got curious and decided to discover what’s the hidden beauty of this historical place. To our surprise the ruins has a special historical story and very few tourist around when we were there. Though the castle itself is gone but the stone rip-rap retaining walls are still intact and holding strong! It has an appealing presence that you would be drawn into it in a strange way. There is also a coffee shop inside and lots of viewing spots of the surrounding panoramic views.

After visiting the ruins we went to Kyoto for the rest of the day travel. We walk around the Kyoto Central Station and had dinner in AEON Mall before heading back to Osaka.
