西表島 網取周辺 2024年
Using Funauki, which has now become a village in the far west, we were guided around Sabasaki in Okuiriomote and Amitori Bay. We departed from Kamadomaso at 10am and first headed to the Sabasaki area by boat. If you look at the cliff near Sabasaki Lighthouse from an angle, there is a place where you can see gorillas. To Amitori Bay. There used to be a village called Amitori. There is now a Tokai University research facility near the site of the former elementary school. Amitori Bay is a bay approximately 4 km long, with the Paita River and Utara River flowing into it. The research facility is not always staffed, but local people and researchers sometimes come to manage it. At the back of the research institute are the ruins of a former village, with only the sidewalk and stone walls remaining.The contrast of emerald green and sapphire blue is eye-catching. This was my first time using the action camera OSUMO ACTION4 underwater for a long time. If you take a picture while swimming in a shallow place, it is likely to be affected by the waves and the video will be blurry. I used image stabilization in my video editing software, but it seemed to be getting even worse. This scene was shot around Sabasaki. The next point is around Uruchisaki, where there are no large fish, but small fish swarm around the coral . The water here was deep and there were relatively large fish.
西表島の西方にある網取地区。奥西表とかいわれている地域。
かつては集落が存在していたが、現在は廃村となり東海大学の研究施設がポツンとあるだけ。
