Yokooka No. 2 Power Station is located at the upper reaches of the Torigoe River, which flows through Nikaho City, Akita Prefecture. Yokooka No. 2 Power Plant, which was completed in 1927, uses a unique water intake method. It is said to be the only power plant in Japan. This is the most beautiful water intake in Japan.
