⁴ᴷ Niigata: Kashiwazaki Station (新潟県: 柏崎駅) – Japan Walking Tour (July, 2024)
In July (June at the time of shooting), we will be heading to Niigata. To get to Niigata Prefecture, we will go through Fukushima and Yamagata Prefectures. We have moved from Yamagata Prefecture to Niigata Prefecture.
The Bourbon headquarters building in front of the station has a strong presence. The convenience store at the station has a Bourbon corner where you can buy Bourbon snacks as souvenirs. I was surprised to see a lot of Lemand ice cream. At night, there are not many people walking in the shopping arcade, but I went to a ramen shop during lunch time and it was almost full. Also, public facilities seem to be very nice because it is a town of nuclear power plants.
