Tokyo Walk – Walking around Tsukiji area, a sacred place for food in Tokyo – June 2024

This is a one-shot video taken in June 2024, walking from Shintomicho Station to Tsukiji Market Station via Tsukiji Station in Tokyo, Japan. If you visit the Tsukiji area, we recommend stopping by Tsukiji Honganji Temple, founded in 1617 and known for its unique Indian-style architecture, which makes it unique in Tokyo. Although it is a Buddhist temple, its appearance, which incorporates Western elements, is worth a visit. Next, head to the world-famous Tsukiji Outside Market. Even after the central wholesale market once located in Tsukiji was relocated to Toyosu in 2018, the outside market continues to attract many people as a vibrant food mecca. However, we recommend visiting early, as most stores close after 3:00 p.m. The most vibrant time to visit is from mid-morning to noon, especially.
