On Saturday, August 17, 2024, the 15th Minato Mirai Bon Odori, a summer festival representing the Minato Mirai area, was held in Rinko Park.
This traditional summer festival is held in a perfect location overlooking the Port of Yokohama. Local ondo (dances) and other familiar Bon dances will be performed.
Unfortunately, the first day of the two-day festival was cancelled this year due to the approach of typhoon No. 7, but today, the second day, Bon Odori was held under clear skies! Please come and watch the “Minato Mirai Dai Bon Odori,” a summer tradition in the Minato Mirai 21 district, while enjoying the pleasant sea breeze.
