Japan – Walking through crowded Asakusa ,Tokyo 【4k】
I visited Asakusa and Sensoji Temple in Taito Ward, Tokyo, Japan. These days, it’s mostly filled with foreigners. Japanese visitors are mostly middle school students on school trips. It’s too crowded. It’s exactly what you’d call overtourism. The nearby shops must be making so much money they can’t stop laughing. It’s probably one of the more accessible and safe tourist spots within Tokyo.
Minor spot walking. I mainly walk through ordinary, unremarkable areas. Night Walk videos seem to be popular, but I’m a fan of the good old Daytime walk.

Get off at Asakusa Station on the Ginza Line, Tokyo, Japan, and you’re right there.

日本、東京都の台東区にある浅草、浅草寺にいってきました。今では、ほとんど外人ですね。日本人は修学旅行の中学生が目立ちます。人が多すぎる。まさにオーバーツーリズム。付近の店は儲かりすぎて笑いが止まらないでしょう。やはり都内の中でも訪れやすい無難な観光地なのかな。
マイナースポットウォーキング。主になんでもない普通の地域を歩きます。Night Walk動画が流行っているようですが、私は、健全なDaytime walk派です。
