【日本の原風景 大内宿】早朝の誰もいない江戸時代の街並みを一人占め JAPAN 4K
大内宿は、江戸時代に会津若松市と日光今市を結ぶ重要な道の宿場町として栄えました。
現在も江戸時代の面影そのままに茅葺屋根の民家が街道沿いに建ち並び、福島県の観光名所となっています。

左下り観音は、江戸時代の懸造りですが、その歴史は平安時代までさかのぼるといわれています。山の中腹にある岩を切り開き構築した見事な三層閣のお堂です。観音堂内には「首無し観音」が安置されています。まさに秘境です。

Ouchi-juku flourished during the Edo period (1603-1867) as a post town on an important road connecting Aizuwakamatsu City and Nikko Imaichi.
Even today, thatch-roofed houses still stand along the road as they were in the Edo period, making it one of Fukushima Prefecture’s most popular sightseeing spots.
The left descending Kannon is an Edo Period kakezukuri, but its history is said to date back to the Heian Period. It is a magnificent three-story hall built by cutting through a rock in the middle of the mountain. Inside the Kannon Hall, the “Headless Kannon” is enshrined.
