三重県津市の繁華街、大門を歩きました。
飲食店街と名前のついたアーケード内のお店はシャッターを下ろしているところが多く、金曜の夜でしたがかなり寂しい雰囲気でした。

Many of the shops in the arcade, which is called the Restaurant District, had their shutters down, and even though it was a Friday night, it had a rather lonely atmosphere.

    0:38 ~ 4:05 this area reminds me of a market area in Hsinchu near Hsinchu City God Temple 新竹都城隍廟. Got a similar vibe and layout during late evening.
    11:28 around here reminds me of another market in Taichung, Zhongxin Market 忠信市場. The market was a day market for traditional daily goods and fresh produces. Since it is locate across an art museum, the market later become a more creative place with art gallery and small shops… Difference is that the market also has residence. So it didn't become an area completely filled with shops. And it wasn't all bars. It would be really interesting if the said Zhongxin market become more like the place in the video.
