  1. there is an indian block around Lavender MRT station. It has huge indian and pakistani food restaurants and malls. The products are relatively cheaper for shopping. You can ask anyone the directions to Mustapha ( or Mustafa square). Loads of things to do around there. Although people are not very friendly or smiling as in Thailand. Road rules are strict. Grab is cheaper, $10-$12 can take you anywhere around SG. Do watch the dancing fountain show at night, and visit the Marina Bay Observatory Deck on the top of tower 3, will cost round $35. Amazing views of the whole Singapore from there.
