The Side of RUSSIA You RARELY SEE…

We’ve made it to Ulan-Ude, a major stop on our month-long Trans-Siberian adventure. This unique Russian city is home to the Buryat people, who resemble Asians because their ancestors date back to Mongolian roots. Join us as we explore Russia’s Buddhist hub, a place rarely seen in the media, and show you their unique culture, traditions, and delicious food.

  2. if sun is the true source of heat and it is millions of miles away from the earth then how come heat from the sun can travel millions of miles through freezing vacuum of space unaffected while few 1000 meters of altitude on earth can become the difference between 0 & 40 celsius

  3. Wow the city is in a such poor condition and its the capital of a republic. I just googled it and apparently the city received a title of the worst city in Russia with population over 250k. When the question was brought up in Russian parliament the local deputy said that its not as bad as you think, we have everything we need. wow just wow

  4. Fun fact, according to the local legend of Baikal, the mother of Gengkis Khan was born in the island in the middle of Baikal; the Mongolian culture and the original tribes came from Baikal. I am not sure about the truth of this but it does make sense considering the location.

  5. Hey,what kind of Asian are you don't even know how to eat the Asian food, the guy act like an idio* why this girl waisting time with him.

  6. The chewing process stimulates saliva, which has enzymes that help keep your mouth clean, preventing cavities. Probably due to a lack of funding than actual animal abuse when the abuse is supposedly due to limited space of the cage.

  7. GREAT VIDEO, but I highly advise refrain from derogatory remarks or showing shameful things like broken mailbox and smell of pee at the bottom of the stairs, and generalizing like "russian bus doesn't have roof bar for holding" and showing paint-over on someone's car's bumper. I ALSO HIGHLY SUGGEST you let Alina do the narration of your vlog while in russia, but of course you can add something or comment on what she said.

  8. Your girlfriend must be mixed of Russian and Mongolian. Her cheek looks so much like Mongolian.

  9. There is a well-known side of Russia. Russia is a terrorist state that's waging a genocidal war against Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. All this is supported by an overwhelming majority of Russians.

  10. Мужик на Волге прям на видео через двойную сплошную как нефиг делать 😀

  11. Super interesting video, I’ve heard about Ulan Ude before and it was nice to see it from your perspective! 😍 cannot wait to see all of the others from the series

  12. Please don't say that those houses look "typical" for Russia, especially after you said that this is a side that you rarely see. Are you trying to push the narrative that Russia hides something? We all know that Ulan-Ude is a poor region. And those are old Soviet houses that aren't typical even by the old Soviet houses standards, they are of a worse uncommon type. Most Soviet houses in other places still look even better than this, and people don't pee in them in the better places, they usually store there some kind of stuff, like the bicycles for example. Russia is a contrasting mixture of poorness and richness all in one place. But for some reason, a lot of people seem to conveniently look at one side. It's a waste of resources to try to improve things that already work perfectly, just because they "look bad". Though, i'm sure this place will get better eventually, especially after Russia cuts all ties with the west, who made it poor to begin with.

  13. I’m from a country that’s no longer welcome in Russia. Would love to see your beautiful country one day. Hope to god for peace and normalized relations in my lifetime and that BOTH OUR stupid so called leaders don’t blow us all to hell.
