In this walking tour, we have a look at one Japan’s most popular spots among tourist and locals to visit, Yuigahama Beach at Kamakura in the Kanagawa region!
Enoshima is one of the oldest places in Japan, being settle at around 800 years ago! This area is home to a lot of sacred imagery to Buddhism with plenty of shrine and temples dedicated here.
As being close to Kamakura, Enoshima has very much the same kind of vibe in terms of having the beach, bringing the carefree lifestyle, with many shops-fronts and food stalls reflecting that. Enoshima is also the main island seen from a distance with many attractions to see such as the lighthouse named the “Sea Candle”, many buddist shrines and Torii gates, Iwaya caves, The Love Bell, Spas and aquariums to name a few!
By being only about 1 hour away from Tokyo and a short ride on the famous Enoden train seen in pop culture, Enoshima is a great time for any season!
