白熱 !!! バチバチの宮入り【阿伎留神社例大祭(五日市祭り)2024】

This is a powerful festival where a hexagonal mikoshi (portable shrine) weighing over 100 kan (100 kg), a rare sight in Japan, is paraded along Hinohara Kaido in the five towns.
The annual festival is held on September 28th, 29th, and 30th every year, with carriers from the five towns of Shimomachi, Nakamachi, Kamimachi, Sakaemachi, and Higashimachi taking part in the procession.
Following the large mikoshi (shrine mikoshi), a medium mikoshi carried by students from Itsukaichi Junior High School, five children’s mikoshi from the town, and music from the five parishioner towns liven up the festival, making Itsukaichi Inn a lively place for three days. Also not to be missed is the lion dance of Itsukaichi Irino, which is dedicated in hopes of a safe and secure mikoshi procession.
Akiru Shrine is a national shrine listed in the Engishiki, Volume 9, as the first of eight shrines in Tama County, Musashi Province (west of present-day Setagaya), and its enshrined deities are Omononushi, Ajisukitakahikone, Takeitori, and Ameno-koyane.
The highlight of the festival is the entrance to Matsubara Yokocho from the traffic light at the entrance to the Hinohara Kaido branch office on the 30th.
Be sure to come and see this historic and heroic festival.
