One of the most expensive food stores, go to the neighboring city and buy the same stuff twice less expensive
They have the so called museum restroom downstairs in GUM, to use which cost 100 rubles, while across the Red Square there's an absolutely free of charge restroom by the Kremlin Wall
The GUM is gorgeous – inside and out! I am really looking forward to the Christmas season! There are few that decorate like the GUM does. 😀❤

Я завидую русским не потому, что у них навалом бухла и закуски — здесь это всё тоже есть. Я завидую им, потому, что они такие огромные и у них на всё хватает места. Почти везде на улицах полно удобных скамеек, где пожилой гражданин может пристроить свою усталую задницу. Здесь надо место для отдыха толкать перед собой — называется оно роллятор. Можно ещё присесть отдохнуть на мусорный бак.

That ice cream stand looks very appetising! The mall itself looks more like Italian style baroque theatre. The size of this luxury shop is epic! I was going to comment that I've seen something similar in Italy, but in Italy such arcades are much smaller. This store is most likely something very unique to Russia.

People visit Russia – their currency rubel lost 5% in last two weeks. The Russian economists anticipate next 5% till the end of October. The prices will be lower for non Russian with $ – 10% in just one month. It's cheap paradise. In November the rubel can go back a little. Visit St Petersburg or Moscow because the government knows the proverb "bread and games" and is putting a lot of money into entertaiment because the "bread" is getting expensive. Unless it's special "social" bread with lower quality and price.

It's 50th anniversary of Baikal-Amur Mainline (see in wiki). And a lot of soviet-style banners about it.
I went here a few times when I was collaborating on research at Moscow State University, nice place! SUPER nice bathrooms, weird thing to think about but they were some of the nicest and cleanest bathrooms I ever visited. Not sure if they still have it, but previously the bathrooms had free disposable combs, toothbrush and toothpaste, floss, hair gel, mouth wash, and mints. Did you visit the soviet style canteen? Interesting historical eatery!!!
