  1. I decided to do a nice informative full tour of a German Owned (Russian) Supermarket. This store was a location I haven't visited before. So it was interesting to see how it differs from the local one I shop at. I do have a Question for everyone, How does this compare to a local Supermarket where you live in the world. Let me know in the comments.

  2. Thank you, Russell. Can we also see more apartments and maybe an electronics store? Tell Yuri hi 🙂.

  3. This is not a "typical" supermarket at all …. why dont you show the ones outside of Mosow where the regular families are struggling to live with no gas or water , trying to keep out of ankle high sewage flood waters flowing through the streets ?

  4. Thanks for uploading, I like these videos. IS there time restrictions on alcohol? Like in Ireland it can only be sold 11am-10pm or from midday on a Sunday

  5. why does the intrest rates rise to 29% with low unemployment? the only reason to hike intrest is to stop people from buying and makeing inflation worse than it is! i liked the shit fountain in moscow!

  6. Russia inflation is over 9% and central bank raised interest rates to 21% just 4 days ago. GDP numbers are overstated due to wartime economy which can't be sustained. Russia has gotten desperate with North Korea soldiers. Putin pays Kim Jong Fat and Russia gives soldiers potatoes carrots and cabbage to eat.

  7. The buffet is considered fine dining for Russians not in Moscow or Saint Petersburg. They'd kill for that but can't afford it.

  8. You are clearly show the best of Russia. Can you tell me about this 200 differentnt sausages who the kremlin have put out in the marked ?No one will buy them.. Can you tell me why?

  9. So people shopping here are paying in rubles. At some point, there must be a currency exchange to the local currency of where the products are produced.

  10. Well, in The Netherlands we don't have Globus ro start with. Personally I buy my meat at the butcher, bread a the the baker, vegetables at the greengrocer, etc. Never in a supermarket. I never eat something in a supermarket and, even less, a buffet. Never done it and never will. You're on a "liquid diet" I see. Almost drooling. Bread packed in plastic? Ha, ha, ha. If you have a wife who cannot cook, or is too lazy ….

  11. Watching from Sydney Australia. I know salaries are much lower than in Aus, but the prices for things in russia are so much lower even when exchange rate and other factors taken into account. People in the west are getting ripped off!

  12. Thank you for the info as always Russell🙏 as most time has been on eye to the USA elections it's good to have a break from US politics and enjoy your great videos 👍

  13. Nothing like it near me! Small town of 3200, little grocery shop. Have a large population of Amish and Mennonites, it caters to them. I’m in Southern Missouri. I grow a garden and can or as you call it “ bottle “ lots of my food. Thanks very interesting!!!

  14. Thank you Russel, We DO NOT have fireworks shops in Australia! That Globus is massive (not a typical size for Australia!) compared to Coles and Woolies. Your fresh foods are a lot cheaper there.(I have not won a meat tray though years ago one of our friends did at the do we had at the pub)

  15. The blue liquid in the big bottles near the end is actually Screenwash. Probably not great if you put that in your radiator as antifreeze.

  16. Never seen so many different kinds of food in a store! We don’t have near as much in supermarkets here, at least in my area!

  17. The only place you see people with carts full of items is the United States. I heard in Europe all refrigerators are tiny because people eat fresh vs the USA people stock up on frozen and processed foods… that they eat in a week, lol

  18. Sanctions on Russia did not include food. Putin retaliated and sanctioned the West prohibiting Russians from importing food, but it's coming in through the back channels costing Russians more.

  19. @TravellingwithRussell. hi Russell.. that milky way bar.. is that the same as a UK milkyway or is it like a USA milkyway (which I think is like a UK marsbar).
I'm assuming Australia is closer to UK bars.

Also good news, Marathon bars are going to have a mini comeback
