“After spending the night doing some night time photography, to little success this time, I decided to head up to the top of Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. Taking a short hike while enjoying the warmth of the sun, I stumbled on this rocky formation and decided to get my camera out to see what I could get. This has been one of my favorite photos for a while now as it shows the beautiful contrast between the dark rocks, still in the shadows, and the absolutely stunning mountain scene being lit up in the distance. The promise of more sun and warmth to come!” #MyCanonStory
