⁴ᴷ Shiga: Setoshi Station (滋賀県: 彦根駅) – Japan Walking Tour (September, 2024)
I’m on a journey to the Chūgoku region, aiming for both the San’in and Sanyō areas, and I’ve now made it to Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture. I visited the preserved district area and took some detailed footage, but on my way back to the station, my battery ran out, so I had to stop filming halfway through.
One interesting thing I noticed was the snack bars tucked away in the backstreets of the preserved district. It made me imagine that perhaps the merchants and shop owners from the preserved district and the arcade shopping street used to go there for a drink at night.
