Exploring Residential Japan: Nagareyama in Chiba Prefecture! | JAPAN LIVE STREAMS 2024
This walk takes place in the Nagareyama area, which neighbors Matsudo, where I live. This place has the Nagareyama Line, which is only 5.7km long and only has 6 stations on it. It also opened in 1913, making it 111 years old! The area is very residential mixed with farmland. It has a population of less than 200,000 and around 33% commute into Tokyo and around 12% commute into nearby Kashiwa for work. It’s located directly next to the Edo River.
